MS2711D by Anritsu is a Anritsu Handheld Spectrum Analyzer in the Spectrum Master series. MS2711D features Frequency Range of 100 kHz to 3.0 GHz, and a Dynamic Range of > 65 dB.

The Spectrum Master series by Anritsu is full of the quality features that you would expect from Anritsu, the inventors of the handheld spectrum analyzer. With an Anritsu spectrum analyzer, you can measure such things as field strength, occupied bandwidth, channel power, ACPR, emissions mask, spurious emissions, C/I, and AM/FM/SSB demodulation. Items in the Spectrum Master series are designed for field use, as they are small and compact by nature. This, coupled with Anritsu’s world-class spectrum monitoring capabilities make for a truly robust tool.

The Anritsu MS2711D Spectrum Master allows the user to discover, identify, save, and resolve communication systems issues swiftly and precisely. This Handheld Spectrum Analyzer is created for use in the field because of its light weight, small size, and durable exterior. The frequency range of this model extends from 100 kHz to 3.0 GHz. The measurement range is from +20 dBm to -135 dBm, with a maximum input level of +43 dBm, peak, without harm. The dynamic range is > 65 dB. The RF Input and Output ports require Type N female connectors for this model.

The MS2711D Spectrum Analyzer can record a maximum of 10 test setups and 300 measurement traces. The saved results can then be transferred to a PC or a printer by use of an RS-232 serial cable. Automated control and data collection in the field can be accomplished with a notebook computer, while utilizing the RS-232 interface. There is also a data analysis software which comes with the MS2711D called Handheld Software Tools. This software enables the user to print professional reports for clients detailing measurements and storing the traces for comparison later.

There is a rapidly growing amount of interference in the 2.4 GHz band as more 802.11 access points are installed. The carrier to interference measurement on the Anritsu MS2711D ensures the user can easily decide if the level of interference is going to cause issues for users in the service area. The carrier to interference measurement can display the necessity to switch to a different access channel.
