Description
Item #: 6031A
Manufacturer: HP Agilent
Series: DC Power Supplies
6031A by HP Agilent is a DC Power Supply in the 6030 Series. 6031A features 1 output and an output voltage of 0 to 20 V.
The HP Agilent 6031A is an autoranging GPIB DC Power Supply with a 20 kHz switching converter to deliver an autoranging output feature with laboratory equivalent performance. The autoranging outputs on this Power Supply can offer optimum power at a wide range of functioning voltages. Numerous supplies can be linked to the HP Agilent 6031A in series or auto-parallel. A maximum of 16 power supplies can be linked via a single GPIB address by utilizing the serial link. This Power Supply has great electrical proficiency, ensuring that it is suitable for enormous systems. There are also safety features on this model, which help guarantee DUT protection.
The 6031A DC Power Supply comes with the following specifications: a single output with auto-ranging options of 20 V, 50 A; 14 V, 76 A; or 7 V, 120 A, 3 mV load regulation voltage, 0.01% + 15 mA load regulation current, and 2 ms, 100 mV transient reaction time.
In addition, the FLT circuit offers the user the option of learning the status of any unmasked fault register part separately from the SRQ function through the GPIB. Therefore, the user does not have to depend on the controller to let them know when a fault occurs in the 6031A DC Power Supply. On the other hand, the INH circuit oversees the RI portion in the fault registers. It also delivers a method for the user to deactivate the power supply from a distance, which is also known as a “panic button.” The user can circumvent the controller and/or GPIB to deactivate the model.
