Chroma 61504 AC Power Source

The Chroma 61504 is a 2000VA Low Power, AC Source with programming capabilities. While operating this model, the user can achieve the maximum density of power by its high-class PWM mode and integrated correction system for power factor. It also offers output DC component as well for conditions where simulation of AC (alternating currents) voltage with DC (direct current) offset is required. It can be used in the testing of unbalance or unstable supply current for a rectified load. In addition, the Chroma 61504 can be used with DC noise filter (optional) to achieve excellent stability and low noise DC voltage for testing.

This AC Power Source comes with a 16-bit integrated measurement circuit, along with firmware utilities that can be used in measuring the stable and transient response of current, true power, apparent power (VA), power factor, true RMS voltage, peak repetitive current, current crest factor, etc. This model comes equipped with a remote sense terminal that can be used to compensate the line drop between testing and source. The Chroma 61504 comes with PULSE, STEP, and LIST mode functions for testing PLD (power line disturbance) simulation capability also.

The Chroma 61504 AC Power Source has a capability to operate with a GPIB Interface and an RS-232C Interface as well. This model offers programmable output impedance to enable the user to proceed with output impedance testing as required by the IEC 61000-3-3 standard. The Chroma 61504 offers 0-424 VDC or 0-300 VAC single phase output from a single source. However, three such supplies can be combined to achieve 3-phase power output.
