Anritsu Wiltron Synthesized CW Generator with +11 dBm output power

Description

Anritsu Synthesized Signal Generator 68085B

The Anritsu 68085B is the high-performance Signal Generator. It has the low-frequency range of 0.5 GHz. It offers the high-frequency range of 60.0 GHz. It is capable to offer different power levels at the output. These power levels range from +2.0 dBm to +11.0 dBm.  The Anritsu 68085B Generator accepts 90 to 132 Vac and 180 to 264 Vac for normal operation. The input operational frequency range is 48 to 400 Hz. It also has a line voltage selector switch on the rear panel. This switch can be set to 110 Vac or 220 Vac mode of operation. If the switch is set to 110 Vac, the 68085B operates from 90 to 132 Vac line voltages. If the switch is set to 220 Vac, the device can operate from 180 to 264 Vac line voltage. The Anritsu 68085B Signal Generator operates on single phase power. The power consumption of the instrument is around 400 VA.

The Anritsu 68085B has many smart functions. It provides frequency synthesis as a major function and component. The frequency synthesis subsystem consists of the A3 reference loop PCB. It also has A4 coarse loop PCB and A5 fine loop PCB. The A3 reference loop PCB supplies 10 MHz and 500 MHz reference frequency. The A4 Coarse loop PCB offers the tuning frequencies of 219.5 to 245 MHz. The A5 fine loop PCB enables the fine-tuning frequencies of 21.5 to 40 MHz for YIG loop.

The 68085B frequency subsystem consists of the A7 YIG loop PCB and the A11 FM PCB as well. The A7 YIG loop PCB helps to performs phase detection. This phase detection is for the output frequency of the YIG-tuned oscillator in 68085B.
