The Anritsu MS2711E Spectrum Master Handheld Spectrum Analyzer is ideal for broadcast proofing, spectrum monitoring, interference analysis, microwave and RF measurements, and Wi-Fi and wireless network measurements. This model has a frequency range extending from 9 kHz to 3 GHz, less than five minute warm-up time, a touchscreen keyboard, and a three hour battery operation time. There are options for an internal preamplifier, an EMF test, a channel scanner, an internal power meter, a high accuracy power meter, and a tracking generator. These features eradicate the necessity of learning and carrying more than one test set.

A maximum of 2,000 traces and 2,000 setups can be saved on the Anritsu MS2711E internally. As far as the external trace/setup memory, this is only restricted by the size of the USB flash drive. With a USB cable, measurements and setups can be transferred to a PC as well. However, not every USB drive will work with this model. Many flash drives have two partitions, the second with proprietary firmware. The second partition must be taken out; only one partition is accepted for the MS2711E.

The display screen on the MS2711E Spectrum Master has multiple options for the High Accuracy Power Meter, Spectrum Analyzer, Channel Scanner, Interference Analyzer, AM/FM/PM Analyzer, and Power Meter modes. There is a black and white mode, which is best suited for broad daylight and printing. The night vision mode is optimal for viewing at night. Lastly, the high contrast mode is ideal for any other difficult viewing conditions.
