The Anritsu 69387B Signal Generator is the optimal part test signal source. With <– 60 dBc determined spurious levels, network analysis and power estimation mistakes are wiped out. Compression estimations are simple with the 0.01 dB resolution accessible in power sweep mode.
The Digital Downconverter included on the Anritsu 69387B produces 10 MHz to 2.2 GHz signals by a progressive binary division of the synthesizer's microwave drive signal. Therefore, the DDC does not present non-harmonic spurious, which is an issue in mixed-based downconverters. Additionally, phase annoyances of the bearer are diminished with each progressive recurrence division, so phase noise diminishes as the output recurrence is lowered.
