Description
Item #: 8561EC
Manufacturer: Agilent
Series: 8560xE/EC
8561EC by Agilent is a Portable RF Spectrum Analyzer in the 8560xE/EC series. 8561EC features a Frequency Range of 30 Hz to 6.5 GHz and an RF input Connector of Type N female.
The 8561EC RF Spectrum Analyzer designed by Agilent is Class 3 MIL-rugged and durable enough to survive environmental settings. The 8561EC has the power and measurement abilities usually found in bigger, more costly benchtop analyzers. This model has a frequency range covering 30 Hz to 6.5 GHz. This model has a suggestion of two years in between calibrations.
The 8561EC weighs 36 pounds, has a maximum power dissipation of 180 W, and a Type N female RF Input Connector. The Agilent 8561EC Portable Spectrum Analyzer has an LCD color display and a backlight capability. Both of the backlight bulbs can be replaced. It is recommended to replace both bulbs when the display is dark.
The Agilent 8561EC has many options, which can be added if the user would like more functions and measurement capabilities included on their spectrum analyzer. For example, Option 1 adds a second IF output to the model. With this option added, a 3 dB bandwidth will be >25 MHz, NF will be 25 dB, and the conversion gain will be -6.5 dB. Another option available for the Agilent 8561EC Spectrum Analyzer is Option 103, delete precision frequency reference. Option 103 eradicates the oscillator used for greater frequency preciseness and exchanges it with a temperature compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO). The lowest resolution bandwidth becomes 10 Hz, to replace the previous 1 Hz. A third option, Option 104, will delete the mass memory module. When the module is erased, this enables storage and initiation of downloadable programs (DLPs) and limit lines.
