Description
Item #: 8563E
Manufacturer: Agilent
Series: 8560xE/EC
8563E by Agilent is a Portable Spectrum Analyzer in the 8560xE/EC series. 8563E features a Frequency Range of 30 Hz to 26.5 GHz and an RF input Connector of Type N female.
The 8563E Portable Spectrum Analyzer is created by Agilent and has a frequency range covering from 30 Hz to 26.5 GHz. This Spectrum Analyzer has dimension of 337 x 187 x 461 mm, weighs 44 pounds, and a CRT monochrome display. The Agilent 8563E can perform measurements such as adjacent channel power, carrier power, channel power, occupied bandwidth, and time-gated measurements. This model is also tough enough to last through severe environmental surroundings.
In addition, the Agilent 8563E Spectrum Analyzer is dc coupled only. The maximum input is 0.2 V dc for this model. Option 6 can change the frequency coverage down to 30 Hz. However, while Option 6 is implemented, it is extremely vulnerable to harm from dc voltages.
The 8563E Portable Spectrum Analyzer is equipped with many keys on the front-panel, which can access various functions. One of these is the copy function, which can easily be accessed by the COPY key. This function allows the user to transfer display data to a GPIB device, such as a printer or plotter, that has been designated with COPY DEV PRNT PLT. The copy function will enable a black and white or color print of the whole display screen, or a plot of the whole display screen. Softkeys do not have the capability to be plotted or printed. If CONNECT PLOTTER is shown onscreen and there are no other issues, the plotter is not linked to the GPIB. Ensure that the GPIB cable is operating and that the plotter is turned on.
