The Agilent 86105C Optical and Electrical Module is created for a variety of design and manufacturing applications. The 86100C Wide-bandwidth Oscilloscope Mainframe is a general-purpose sampling oscilloscope, a digital communications analyzer, a time domain reflectometer, and a precision jitter and amplitude interference analyzer in one instrument. The 86105C can be inserted into the 86100C mainframe. The 86100C Mainframe supports many types of modules for assessment of electrical and optical signals. The modules can be chosen to fit the bandwidth, sensitivity, and filtering needed. The 86105C Optical and Electrical Module has the largest coverage of data rates with an optical bandwidth of 9 GHz and electrical bandwidth of 20 GHz.
The Agilent 86100C Wide-Bandwidth Oscilloscope Mainframe has a touch screen and the ability to connect to a mouse or keyboard. The operating temperature range is from 10 to +40 degrees C. A maximum of two modules can be inserted into the 86100, resulting in a total of four measurement channels. Modules may be inserted and removed from the mainframe while the model is on; this aids in decreasing the time spent swapping modules for varying measurements.
The Agilent 86105C Optical Electrical Sampling Module can complete waveform characterization and test transmitter compliance on numerous networking technologies with one plug-in module. The module can be customized to suit the user and the application they need it for. Option 100 is a combination of four low data rate filters. Option 200 adds multi 9G filters. Option 300 adds both low data rate filters and multi 9G filters.
