8753ES by Agilent is a Network Analyzer in the 8753 series. 8753ES features 4 Display Channels and a Frequency Range of 30 kHz to 3 GHz.

The HP Agilent 8753ES Network Analyzer fully characterizes RF components and can perform frequency and power sweeps. This model has four display channels. Every display channel has five markers that can be shown at the same time. Twenty independent markers can be shown in the four channel display mode if markers are uncoupled. The markers can be utilized for many functions such as: marker search, Mkr bandwidth with customized target values, Mkr to reference, trace statistics, Mkr to delay, and several more.

The source power on the Agilent 8753ES can be set anywhere from -85 to +10 dBm. The power slope can be set in dBm/GHz. If Option 75 or Option 14 is added, the maximum becomes +8 dBm. The 8753ES has options for a time-domain feature, harmonics measurement, a configurable test set, and the added capability to remove a test set. There is also an option for an electronic calibration module (ECal).

This Network Analyzer has a GPIB interface for remote programming. The GPIB address can be confirmed or set from the front panel with the local menu. A series of front-panel keystrokes on the 8753ES Network Analyzer can be generated, changed, stored, or recalled to automate a measurement. Test sequences can be comprised of basis stimulus and measurement functions, advanced operations, and basic logical branching. Also, test sequences can be saved internally to a disk and transferred from a computer through the GPIB interface. Sequence 6 is stored in nonvolatile storage and can be utilized as an autostart routine if it is named AUTO.
