The load and line regulation is < 0.01% + 2 mV. The power supply also utilizes convection cooling to keep the instrument from overheating.

The E3610A DC Power Supply has individual digital-panel meters for keeping track of current and voltage at the same time, providing the user accurate reading and control. There is also a 10-turn potentiometer for precise modification of the current and voltage output settings. Since the load and line regulation of this power supply is 0.01%, the E3610A will maintain a stable output when power line and load modifications take place. Furthermore, the extremely low mode noise guarantees clean power for precision circuitry.

Either the positive or negative terminal on the E3610A DC Power Supply can be linked to ground, delivering a positive or negative voltage output. The outputs can be floated a maximum of 240 V from ground as well. The E3610A also has adaptable current limits, allowing the user to select the most harmless current limit and not have to worry about shorting the output. The constant-voltage, constant-current output permits functioning as a voltage or current foundation. The changeover will happen automatically, depending on the load. The E3610A DC Power Supply has two ranges, which permits more current at a lower voltage.
