Description

Item #: E4440A

Manufacturer: Agilent
Series: PSA

E4440A by Agilent is a Performance Spectrum Analyzer in the PSA series. E4440A features a Maximum Analysis Bandwidth of 80 MHz and a Data Storage of 512 MB.

The Agilent E4440A Performance Spectrum Analyzer (PSA) is ideal for R&D and manufacturing engineers in applications such as aerospace, defense, cellular and emerging wireless communications. This model has an 8.4 inch display, 512 MB of non-volatile storage memory, and a Type N female RF input connector. The frequency range for the E4440A is 3 Hz to 26.5 GHz (DC coupled) and 20 MHz to 26.5 GHz (AC coupled).

The Agilent E4440A PSA has one-button measurements available, along with versatility, speed, preciseness, analysis bandwidth, and dynamic range. This Performance Spectrum Analyzer can complete measurements such as millimeter wave and phase noise measurements, along with performing spur searches and modulation analysis. The E4440A also has several trigger options, such as: line, video, frame, external rear, external front, free run, video, and RF burst.

For the Agilent E4440A Spectrum Analyzer, the gate length is 10 µs to 500 ms. The bandwidth accuracy is 1 Hz to 1.5 MHz (-3.01 dB bandwidth). The E4440A Spectrum Analyzer will meet its specifications if the following conditions occur: the model has been within the operating temperature range for at least two hours and powered on for a minimum of 30 minutes with Auto Align On chosen, the model is within its one year calibration term, DC coupling is applied if the center frequency is <20 MHz, the Spectrum Analyzer is under auto couple control (Auto Sweep Time = Accy), and the Align All Now function has been completed in the past 24 hours or when the temperature varies 3 degrees C.
