The Anritsu MT9083C2 is an Ultra High-Performance Access Master, with an improved range with full support of 1 × 128 PON. This Anritsu model incorporates an optical light source for fiber identification estimations as a standard tool. The fiber identification estimation has a comparatively simple technique to approximate the area of a break point in an optical fiber.
