    Description

    Anritsu MW8219A PIM Master

The Anritsu MW8219A PIM Master has commands that initiate a specified estimation and configure the instrument to a standby mode on sweep. This model also includes a Remote Access Password Protection to prevent unapproved access to the handheld instrument when the instrument is associated with a network, particularly connected to the internet. Actually, only one user can be connected at a time. A large number of Anritsu handheld instruments might accept a Remote Access Password. If a password has been set, then your remote access requires the password.

The MW8219A PIM Master, like other high execution instruments, is susceptible to electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage. The coaxial cables and antennas regularly develop a static charge, which, if permitted will release by connecting directly to the PIM Master without discharging the static charge and might harm the PIM Master input circuitry.

This Anritsu handheld instrument has a touch screen and offers extra operator interface options for a few characteristics. The user can touch a submenu key or a screen characteristic for easy access to functions. The MW8219A includes a Distance to Pin function that can find the location of PIM outside an antenna system, over torqued connectors, dirty connectors, microscopic arcing connectors, and corroded connectors.

Many popular frequency mixes can produce PIM in a cell receiver band. PIM signals in the cell receiver band will increase the bit mistake rate, cause early handoff, increase early termination, and raise the receiver noise floor.

The manual for this model is available on the ApexWaves.com website.
