The Anritsu S362E Site Master Cable and Antenna Analyzer, with a Spectrum Analyzer, is ideal for maintaining base stations. The cable and antenna analyzer part of the S362E has a frequency range from 2 MHz to 6 GHz, while the spectrum analyzer has a frequency range from 9 kHz to 6 GHz. The cable and antenna analyzer’s function is to characterize cable and antenna systems with cable loss, VSWR, return loss, and distance-to-fault measurements. It has a sweep speed quicker than 1 ms per data point and a dual display screen. The spectrum analyzer’s main function is to pinpoint and categorize signals over a large frequency range. It can pick up on signals as low as -152 dBm with phase noise better than -100 dBc per Hz.

The Anritsu S362E also has many option to choose from, which can be added for more features. For example, the GPS Receiver (Option 31) gives the position and UTC time information, while increasing the preciseness of the reference oscillator. Ethernet Connectivity (Option 411) can also be provided. Option 411 allows the user to control automated testing from a remote PC and also has the capability of uploading data from the S362E Site Master to a PC. The Master Software Tools also allows for remote access control. A third option is the 2-port transmission measurement (Option 21). This gives both low and high power settings for TMA gain and antenna-antenna isolation measurements. Option 21 has a dynamic range of > 80 dB. The Power Meter (Option 29) generates channelized transmitter power measurements.
