The Anritsu S820E Microwave Site Master Cable and Antenna Analyzer has optional VNA and VVM modes, with a frequency range from 1 MHz to 8 GHz, 14 GHz, 20 GHz, 30 GHz, or 40 GHz. The dynamic range is 110 dB up to 40 GHz, ensuring that field performance is equivalent to benchtop. The frequency resolution is 1 Hz across the complete operating range. The sweep speed is ≤550 µs/data point. The 8.4 inch display ensures the user can read measurements with ease in any lighting environment. There is also a convenient touchscreen interface.
The Anritsu S820E Microwave Site Master is equipped with active thermal management to guarantee a quick warm-up, while decreasing the necessity of re-calibration. Additionally, the S820E Site Master has been created and assessed to comply with the MIL-28800F Section 4.5.6.3 Explosive Atmosphere standards for harm-free use on flight decks and other areas where extreme volatility may be present. The S820E Cable and Antenna Analyzer is built to withstand harsh field conditions and is light enough to bring anywhere, whether it is on ground level, to the top of a tower, or climbing through a roof hatch.
The battery life of the Anritsu S820E is five hours. Power conserving features can prolong the battery life even more. These features include: sleep mode with instant on, which is useful when moving from site to site and an auto-display brightness that will decrease the backlight if the model has not been used for an extended period. A single touch of the keypad, wheel, or display will instantly reestablish brightness levels.
