The Tektronix TDS3034 user interface has an operating mode called QuickMenu. QuickMenu allows the major oscilloscope controls to be available with one button. There is also an On-Line Tour disk that comes with the oscilloscope. The disk provides a summary of the TDS3034’s operation and functions. The TDS3034 Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope has four channels, a bandwidth of 300 MHz, a sample rate of 2.5 GS/s on every channel, a maximum record length of 10K points, and vertical sensitivity of 1mV-10 V.

The Tektronix TDS3034 Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope has several acquisition modes: peak detect, single sequence, envelope, sample, and average. Peak detect mode is a high frequency and intermittent anomaly capture feature, which can capture anomalies s as small as 1 ns. Single sequence mode can capture one triggered acquisition sequence at once. Envelope mode obtains Max/Min values over one acquisition or more. Sample mode obtains sample information. Lastly, average mode will take the waveform information from 2 to 572 chosen acquisitions and find the average.
