    Description

    Item #: TDS754C

    Manufacturer: Tektronix
    Series: TDS700C

TDS754C by Tektronix is a Digitizing Oscilloscope in the TDS700C series. TDS754C features 4 Channels and a Bandwidth of 500 MHz.

The Tektronix TDS754C Digitizing Oscilloscope is ideal for the continuously changing needs in advanced electronic design and debug, as well as communication design and R&D applications.  This oscilloscope has a waveform capture rate of more than 400,000 waveforms per second. InstaVu Acquisition ensures that this model has the quickest waveform capture rate existing on any oscilloscope. The fast waveform capture rate permits the user to instantaneously look at the scarcest signal events. Other valuable features of the Tektronix TDS754C include: a graphical user interface, 29 automatic measurements, advanced triggering, and high-fidelity acquisition.

One of the beneficial features of the TDS754C Digitizing Oscilloscope is the ability for channels to be clearly joined to result in higher sample rates and longer record lengths. With Option 8M, the record length can be elongated to 8M points, which delivers a high-resolution representation of the signal over an extended amount of time.  The Tektronix TDS754C Digitizing Oscilloscope can store four complete 50K records, four complete 130K records, two complete 250K records, or 1 compressed 500K record and 10 front panel setups. If certain options are added, the storage capacity for record lengths can change.

Although basic triggering functions can be found on the TDS754C, other triggering types are available as well. In fact, a few of the trigger modes are designed especially for debug and design applications, including glitch, slew rate, timeout triggers, etc. These triggers can help the user capture difficult to spot digital design issues. Furthermore, there is an optional video trigger function, which delivers line and field selection for HDTV, PAL, and NTSC standards.
