Jitter measurements can be completed on high-speed data, spread-spectrum clock circuits, and phase-locked loops. Java-based application packages can be used for disk drive measurements, jitter analysis, and processor specification measurements; these give user customized measurements and assessment capability.

The Tektronix TDS694C has four channels, a sample rate of 10 GS/s on every channel, a real-time bandwidth of 3 GHz, and a maximum record length of 120,000 points on each channel. The Tektronix TDS694C Digital Real-Time Oscilloscope is equipped with every advanced trigger feature the user could need in an oscilloscope, such as: Slew Rate violations, Logic Patterns and States, triggering on Glitches, Setup-and-hold Time violations, and Timeouts on four channels.
