AFG3252 by Tektronix is an Arbitrary/Function Generator in the AFG3000 series. AFG3252 features 1/2 Channels and a Rise/Fall Time of ≤ 2.5 ns.

The Tektronix AFG3252 Arbitrary/Function Generator can be used in the following applications: education and training, electronic tests and design, functional tests, and sensor simulation. This model comes equipped with 12 standard waveforms. Leading and trailing edge time can be selected individually on pulse waveforms. The AFG3252 Arbitrary/Function Generator has numerous valuable features, such as: a 5.6 inch color LCD display, sweep and burst, USB, GPIB, and LAN connectivity, and a multilanguage user interface. The appearance and feel of this series is equivalent to the popular Tektronix TDS3000 Series Oscilloscopes.

The AFG3252 has 1/2 channels, a noise bandwidth (-3 dB) of 240 MHz, arbitrary waveforms in burst mode ranging from 1 mHz to 60 MHz, a vertical resolution of 14 bits, and a nonvolatile memory of four waveforms. The Tektronix AFG3252 also comes equipped with ArbExpress Software, which is a program that permits users to effortlessly import waveforms from any Tektronix oscilloscope. With ArbExpress Software, waveforms can also be distinguished by typical functions, equation editor, and waveform math.

A USB connector on the front panel of the AFG3252 can be utilized for saving waveforms on a flash drive. This Arbitrary/Function Generator has a display screen big enough for the user to view all pertinent waveform constraints and graphical wave forms in one glance. The large display provides complete assurance in the signal settings and permits the user to concentrate on their goals.  In addition, the Tektronix AFG3252 has shortcut keys for direct access to commonly used functions and constraints. The user can choose other functions and constraints through strategically organized menus.
