The Tektronix THS700 Series of Digital Handheld Oscilloscopes is the combination of a real-time oscilloscope and a true RMS digital multimeter in one package. This series of oscilloscopes is perfect for electronic applications, such as field or bench electronic troubleshooting and floating system measurements, and can be used at the site or at the bench. The THS720P can additionally be used for power quality surveys and industrial electronic equipment troubleshooting. 21 automatic measurements are available for use on these models, along with a backlit display, two channels, RS-232 programmability/communications, and a 2,500 point record lent per channel.
The THS720A and THS720P have similar specifications with a bandwidth of 100 MHz, a sample rate of 500 MS/s on every channel, and a time/division range of 5 ns to 50s/div. The THS730A has a higher bandwidth of 200 MHz, a faster sample rate of 1 GS/s on every channel, and a time/division range of 2 ns to 50 s/div. The THS720P can also perform power measurements, while the other oscilloscopes do not have this capability.
