3654 by Anritsu is a Calibration Kit in the 365xx series. 3654 features a Type V Connector and can be used with the 360B VNA.

The 3654 Calibration Kit manufactured by Anritsu supports several types of calibration, including calibration with: opens, shorts, and broadband loads. If Option 1 is added, this calibration kit is able to support sliding loads as well. The 3654 has Type V male and female connectors. This calibration kit is designed for use with the Anritsu 360B Vector Network Analyzer.

The minimum magnification for inspection for a Type V connector is 7X. An inspection with a magnification device and lighting is suggested to be completed at least one time each day prior to connecting. A good connector can be harmed if it is connected to a bad one. The Anritsu 3654 Calibration Kit has a pin depth of +0.000 in. (male) and -0.002 in. (female). The Anritsu gauge setting is the same as the pin depth for Type V connectors. There are two ports on this calibration kit.

When tightening connectors, the first step can be performed by hand. However, make sure not to tighten too much by hand. The torque wrench should still be able to turn 1/8 or about 45 degrees for the final tightening step. Then, an open end wrench can be used to stop the connector body from turning. The type of torque wrench that should be used to tighten the V connectors on the 3654 Calibration Kit is model number 01-201. The torque specification is 8 in.-lbs. The open end wrench is 01-204. There are also several options available for the 3654. Option 1 adds sliding loads.
