Anritsu 68017C Signal Generator

The Anritsu 68017C is a Synthesized CW Signal Generator with a frequency range between 10 MHz and 8.4 GHz. Anritsu created this model for a wide range of applications, including A.T.E. or bench top testing. The tool covers an output power range of +13 dBm to -15 dBm. This piece of equipment is a reliable alternative to expensive and complicated wave generators. It is compact, powerful, and an excellent performer. Most of all, it is very attractively priced.

The Anritsu 68017C can operate within a temperature range of 0°C to 50°C, humidity range of 5 – 95%, and a maximum altitude of 4600 meters.  Because the machine may run hot during operation, it comes with a fan at the rear panel to provide internal cooling. A few of the best features include low SSB phase noise, a menu that is easy to navigate, and a frequency resolution of 0.1 Hz.

Like other synthesizers in its series, the Anritsu 68017C is remotely controllable through the GPIB. This is done using SCPI or Native, which are both interface languages. Operating the Anritsu 68017C should be easy, thanks to the detailed front panel. The data entry and data display areas are placed strategically for ease of user-interaction.  The Anritsu 68017C also has optional application drivers, alongside SCPI programmability. Maintenance and generation of code is extremely easy with the National Instruments LabView® drivers and IVICOM driver.
