Anritsu 68145B Synthesized Sweep Generator

The Anritsu 68145B Synthesized Sweep Generator belongs to the 681XXB family of synthesizers. It has a frequency coverage of 0.5 to 20GHz. It provides users with the best functions for synthesizing component analysis, LO Duty, signal simulation, or A.T.E. applications. For swept measurements, it features analog sweep, step, manual sweep, and master/slave capability. It comes with an optional 0.1Hz resolution and Output levels that reach +13 dBm, and to +11 dBm with step attenuators. It has external modulating signals that provide AM and FM. The AM and FM feature can also be achieved through internal arbitrary wavelength generators.

The Anritsu 68145B has the Alternate Sweep mode that performs alternate sweeps between any sweep ranges, where each sweep range may be characterized by a varying power level. The Manual Sweep mode allows the user to select number of steps or step sizes. It also provides frequency adjustments between sweep limits that are either stepped or phase-locked. Other features include: Waveguide extensions to 110GHz, economical upgrades, user downloaded complex modulation, and AM, FM, and øM pulse modulation.

Anritsu 68145B Synthesized Sweep Generator has a Line Key which indicates turning on and off the sweep generator, with a(n) green/orange LED power indicator, respectively. The Data Display gives information about the current status of the Anritsu 68145B in a menu display format. The value of the active frequency and power level parameters, the mode of operation, and the status of modulation are information that are also provided in the data display. It also has an External ALC Connector which allows levelling of RF output signal externally, using either a detector or power meter.
