Description
Item #: 8561E
Manufacturer: Agilent
Series: 8560xE/EC
8561E by Agilent is a Portable Spectrum Analyzer in the 8560xE/EC series. 8561E features a Frequency Range of 30 Hz to 6.5 GHz and an RF input Connector of Type N female.
The Agilent 8561E Portable Spectrum Analyzer is ideal for millimeter applications that do not need complete microwave coverage. The Agilent 8561E can be used in conjunction with the Keysight 11970 series of harmonic mixers or the Keysight 11974 series of preselected mixers for a less expensive option. Time-gated signal analysis enables the user to measure time-varying signals with ease. These signals include: time-division multiple access, interleaved, pulsed RF, and burst-modulated. This model is MIL-T-28800 rugged and has a frequency range from 30 Hz to 6.5 GHz.
The Agilent 85629B Test and Adjustment Module is another product that can be used with the Agilent 8561E. One of the most useful features of the 85629B is the automatic fault isolation function. If an issue with the spectrum analyzer is assumed, most of the time automatic fault isolation can recognize if the analyzer has a fault. However, excessive residual FM is one issue that automatic fault isolation cannot uncover. The display and keyboard are the two parts that must be operational in order to initiate the automatic fault isolation function. The first step of the process is that the automatic fault isolation will scan five parts of the spectrum analyzer. Then, results will be shown on the screen. If an issue is discovered, it will stop scanning. The automatic fault isolation function will run for about 90 seconds if no problems are discovered. If a problem is discovered, the user can choose to keep troubleshooting by utilizing the service guide or take the spectrum analyzer to a service center.
