The 8567A High-Performance RF Spectrum Analyzer designed by Agilent is ideal for ATE system and bench use. This Spectrum Analyzer is suitable for many applications such as: broadband signal surveillance, EMC testing, and component stimulus-response testing. The frequency range of this model encompasses 10 kHz to 1.5 GHz. The resolution bandwidth can cover up to 1 kHz, while the sensitivity can cover as low as -115 dBm. There is 16 KB of user RAM available for saving instrument states, trace information, or custom downloadable programs (DLPs). The Agilent 8567A is great for applications that do not necessitate high-performance capabilities like the 8568B can perform. The 8567A provides equivalent versatility, speed, and automatic operation capability at a lower cost.
The Agilent 8567A has a CRT display. Every piece of displayed data is stored in the spectrum analyzer’s digital memory, which revives the CRT. Various traces can be shown to measure residual FM or drift, or to perform real-time surveillance over a large frequency range. Four display markers are accessible at one time to help the user assess and measure signals with ease. An HP-IB plotter can be added for a hard copy of all data on the display screen. The hard copies can be documented, assessed, or presented. Plots can be generated two ways: directly or with the use of a controller.
In addition, the 8567A RF Spectrum Analyzer can be used with the HP 8444A Tracking Generator, which is Option 59. This option adds stimulus-response abilities to the 8567A at a low price.
