    8594E by Agilent is a Portable Spectrum Analyzer in the 8590E series. 8594E features a Frequency Range of 9 kHz to 2.9 GHz (dc-coupled); 100 kHz to 2.9 GHz (ac-coupled) and a Frequency Accuracy of ±210 Hz.

    The Agilent 8594E Portable Spectrum Analyzer is ideal for applications such as component tests, cable TV/broadcast, lightwave, electromagnetic compatibility, and wireless communications. This Portable Spectrum Analyzer has downloadable measurement personalities and optional plug-ins to create a customized solution for users. The model can be customized at the time of purchase or later. The 8594E has a split screen display, dual interfaces, one-button measurements, and a built-in tracking generator. The frequency range covers from 9 kHz to 2.9 GHz (dc coupled) and from 100 kHz to 2.9 GHz (ac coupled).

    The Agilent 8594E has a software program which was created for the 8590 E-Series. Every measurement personality gives measurement setups, patterns, and outcomes suited for the user’s own application. Data can be saved on 128 Kbyte memory cards. A useful feature is the zoom window split screen display, which enables the user to zoom in on signals and look at the wide view of the spectrum simultaneously. Another helpful characteristic of the 8594E Portable Spectrum Analyzer is that equipment needed will be greatly reduced since the model has such a wide variety of optional measurement capabilities available. Group delay and on-screen TV picture are a few of the options.
