Featured with a frequency range of 10 MHz – 40 GHz and dynamic range of -70 to +20 dBm, the MA2474D is a standard diode sensor from the MA247xD Series by Anritsu. This model is designed to provide accurate CW average power measurements with the ML2430, 80, and 90 series power meters. The Anritsu MA2474D offers an optimized combination of measurement speed and dynamic range. It is different from its predecessors since a single sensor is used in place of two sensors.

The Anritsu MA2474D comes equipped with an EEPROM where its calibration factors are stored. To improve return loss performance, this high accuracy sensor comes with an additional matching circuit. For precise CDMA measurements, this power sensor has an exceptional 1 millisecond rise time and fall time. This optimal rise and fall time makes this sensor an ideal choice for power measurements across GSM and other TDMA systems where GMSK modulation is used. With its high bandwidth, this model can also be considered for more complicated applications, such as peak measurements on radio-navigation, radar, and radiolocation systems.

The Anritsu MA2474D incorporates high precision RF connectors with a hexagon shaped coupling nut, which can easily be attached with the help of an industry standard torque wrench. The MA2474D Standard Diode Sensor additionally offers 1.8% at < 18 GHz, 2.5% at < 40 GHz and 3.5% at < 50 GHz. This diode sensor is designed in such a way that it can also be used in harsh outdoor environments.
