The Anritsu MT8212E Cell Master is a compact handheld Base Station Analyzer ideal for cell site technicians working on the upkeep and installation of wireless networks. This model has Signal Analyzer options for 2G, 3G, and 4G cell networks, including digital broadcast, WiMAX, and LTE. Cell site technicians and RF engineers can use the MT8212E to precisely and swiftly assess and confirm the installation and commissioning of base stations and cell sites for premium wireless network performance. The model is also suitable for continuous maintenance and troubleshooting to aid in confirming the operation of wireless network structure. The sweep speed is 1 ms per data point. The dynamic range is >102 dB in 1 Hz RBW. The display has the capability to act as a single or dual measurement touchscreen.
The MT8212E Base Station Analyzer uses the Signal Analysis Over-the-Air (OTA) Pass/Fail tests to swiftly decide the state of a cell site with a one step process. This process will confirm the quality of the base station RF, base station modulation, and antenna feed line. After the cell site passes the test, the RF engineer/technician can move to another cell site.
The MT8212E Cell Master comes equipped with several helpful software programs, including Master Software Tools (MST) and easyTest Tools. Master Software Tools processes spectrum analysis traces stored on the MT8212E and gives the user a strong data analysis tool for spectrum clearing and interference monitoring. easyTest Tools aids the user with generating, distributing, and showing work instructions on the display of Anritsu’s Antenna and Cable Analyzers.
