Description
Anritsu BTS Master MT8221B Base Station Analyzer
The BTS Master MT8221B offers a standard implicit Power Meter, using the Spectrum Analyzer and an optional High Accuracy Power Meter, requiring outside power sensors. Setting the transmitter output energy of a base station properly is basic to the general operation of a remote system. A 1.5 dB change in control levels implies a 15% change in scope zone. Too much power implies overlapping coverage, which makes an interpretation of cell-to-cell self-impedance. Too little power, too little coverage, makes island cells with non-overlapping cell sites and decreased in-building coverage. High or low esteems will cause dead zones/dropped calls, bring lower information rates/reduced capacity near cell edges, and cell loading imbalances/blocked calls.
For the most exact power estimation prerequisites, you can select the high accuracy estimation option, with a choice of sensors with a Frequency Range between 10 MHz to 18 GHz, Power Range between – 40 dBm to +51.76 dBm, and Measurement Vulnerabilities of ±0.18 dB. These sensors allow users to make precise estimations for CW and digitally modulated signals for 2G/3G, and up and coming 4G remote systems. The power sensor effectively connects with the BTS Master by means of a USB A/Mini-B cable. An extra benefit of utilizing the USB connection is that a separate DC supply (or battery) isn't required, since the necessary power is provided by the USB port.
This model has a Vector Signal Generator between 10 MHz to 6 GHz for comprehensive receiver testing, a 30-MHz Zero-Span IF Output for outside demodulation of virtually any other wideband signal, and a 20 MHz demodulation ability for future LTE adjustment quality testing.
