The TDS350 Digital Real-Time Oscilloscope manufactured by Tektronix is equally well-suited for benchtop lab and portable applications, including design work, education, and service. This particular model has two channels, a record length of 1,000 samples, 8-bit vertical resolution, a maximum sample rate of 1 GS/s, and the highest bandwidth in the series at 200 MHz. The two channels can obtain waveforms at the same time. Other features of this oscilloscope include an autoset function, cursors, continuously updated automatic measurements, on-screen readout, a graphical user interface, waveform averaging, waveform enveloping, and hardware peak detection.

The Tektronix TDS350 can be used with several types of probes other than the two that come with it, such as: the P6561 SMT probe, P6101B 1X passive probe, AM503S DC/AC current probe system, P6009 high voltage probe, and the P6408 TTL logic probe. Two 1,000 point reference waveforms and ten front-panel setups can be saved at a time.

The Tektronix TDS350 Digital Real-Time Oscilloscope has an optional I/O interface (Option 14). Option 14 will add a GPIB, RS-232 I/O interface and a Centronics-type parallel port. This option allows the user to utilize a remote computer to control the oscilloscope for automated testing. An additional feature is to transfer waveform or measurement information for recording and assessment. Furthermore, a VGA monitor output is added for applications which need a monitor, such as classroom viewing. Option 3P is a portable thermal printer, which is mounted in a pouch connected to the oscilloscope. Option 14 is included with Option 3P.
