Description
Item #: TDS360
Manufacturer: Tektronix
Series: TDS300
TDS360 by Tektronix is a Digital Real-Time Oscilloscope in the TDS300 series. TDS360 features 2 Channels and a Bandwidth of 200 MHz.
The Tektronix TDS360 Digital Real-Time Oscilloscope is equally useful as a benchtop instrument in the lab and as a portable oscilloscope as well. This model has two input channels, 21 automatic waveform measurements, a record length of 1,000 samples per channel, 8-bit vertical resolution, and 1 GS/s maximum sample rate. Each channel can obtain waveforms at the same time. Standard features on the TDS360 oscilloscope include: hardware peak detection, waveform averaging, waveform enveloping a graphical user interface (GUI), and numerous others.
There is a 3.5-inch, DOS-compatible floppy disk drive on the TDS360, which allows the user to store screen images, setups, or information to a disk. Next, they can insert the disk into a PC for importing to spread sheet programs or desktop publishing. This Digital Real-Time Oscilloscope also has advanced math signal processing/FFT. Waveform functions are enhanced with the useful FFT assessment of waveforms. FFT makes the TDS360 a great choice for analysis and research applications, including power supply design and mechanical analysis where power line harmonic distortion and resonance are important measurements.
The Tektronix TDS360 has WaveStar Software installed, which is a Windows 95/NT application, delivering Tektronix oscilloscope measurement data to the user’s PC. WaveStar has familiar features, including drag and drop, which gives the user a fast and easy way to import imperative data into various Microsoft Office or Windows compatible applications. With this software, the user can catch, assess, and record information, along with being able to professionally generate, store, and print documents. WaveStar Software additionally allows for remote access and control of numerous Tektronix devices through a PC and does not require programming.
