There is a graphical palette which arranges the measurements into communications, time, amplitude, histogram, and combination categories. The user can gain more insight into their measurement outcomes with statistical information, such as max, mean, min, population, and standard deviation. The waveform cursors ensure that it is simple to measure trace-to-trace characteristics. At the same time, cursors connect between YT and XY display modes and make it simple to explore phase relationships and Safe Operating Area infringements. For advanced applications, the user can generate algebraic expressions, containing waveforms sources, measurement values, scalars, math functions, and user-adjustable variables with a simple editor.
The Tektronix TDS5104B Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope has four input channels, a bandwidth of 1 GHz, a hardware bandwidth limit of 150 MHz or 20 MHz, a calculated rise time of 300 ps, AC, DC, and GND input coupling, a time resolution of 200 ps (single shot), a maximum sample rate of 1.25 GS/s on 3-4 channels, and a maximum record length of 16M/8M/4M for every channel with standard memory.
