The Tektronix TDS794D Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope can catch, save, display, and assess three dimensions of signal data in real-time. A NuColor display screen also aids the user in quickly differentiating between numerous waveforms and measurements.

The Tektronix TDS794D is ideal for advanced electronic design and debug applications. Several of the advantageous features on this oscilloscope include: 29 automatic measurements, limit test, FastFrame time stamp, complete GPIB programmability, histogram statistics, advanced triggering, a floppy disk storage, and numerous others. The TDS794D Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope has four channels, four samplers, a bandwidth of 2 GHz, a maximum sample rate of 1 GS/s, and a maximum record length of 50 K (or as high as 2M with Option 2M). The user can store screen displays to the internal 3.5 in. DOS-compatible floppy disk drive in numerous standard desktop publishing types.

Additionally, this model can be used with multiple types of probes.  A few probes that can be used with the TDS794D Oscilloscope are the P6245 and P6217 Active Probes. These were created especially for DPO models. The P6217 can achieve the complete 2 GHz bandwidth on the TDS794D, while delivering low loading.
