Description
Item #: MS2724B
Manufacturer: Anritsu
Series: Spectrum Master
MS2724B by Anritsu is a Anritsu Handheld Spectrum Analyzer in the Spectrum Master series. MS2724B features a Frequency Range of 9 kHz to 20 GHz.
The Spectrum Master series by Anritsu is full of the quality features that you would expect from Anritsu, the inventors of the handheld spectrum analyzer. With an Anritsu spectrum analyzer, you can measure such things as field strength, occupied bandwidth, channel power, ACPR, emissions mask, spurious emissions, C/I, and AM/FM/SSB demodulation. Items in the Spectrum Master series are designed for field use, as they are small and compact by nature. This, coupled with Anritsu’s world-class spectrum monitoring capabilities make for a truly robust tool.
The MS2724B Spectrum Master by Anritsu weighs less than eight pounds, making it equally suitable for work in the field or on the engineering bench. It is best for measuring up to the fifth harmonic of 3G cell phone base stations. An AM/FM/SSB demodulator comes with the MS2724B High Performance Handheld Spectrum Analyzer. Demodulated signals can be watched closely with the internal speaker or with a universal 2.5 mm 3-wire headset, such as the kind used with many cell phones.
The frequency range of the MS2724B is from 9 kHz to 20 GHz. The Anritsu MS2724B Handheld Spectrum Analyzer also has a wide dynamic range > 101 dB in 1 Hz RBW, which allows the measurements of small signals, even while bigger signals are nearby. The input attenuation value can be set with the reference level, decreasing the amount of parameters the field technician must set. The RBW/VBW and the span/RBW ratios can be set to values that are ideal for the measurements being performed, which makes the technician’s job even easier and decreases the room for mistakes. This model also has a 256 MB non-volatile compact flash memory, which can save over 1,000 traces. The trace names can have a maximum of 40 characters. Later, the traces can be copied to a PC with the built-in USB 2.0 connector or the 10/100 Mbit Ethernet connection. Measurements can be saved straight to a compact flash or USB flash drive as well.
